Praised as a ‘fully rounded musician’ (Next BRIT Thing), Sam Jewison is a vocalist, pianist and conductor, based in London. He studied at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and has played at world famous venues such as the BFI Southbank, OperaUpClose at King's Place and The Crazy Coqs. He has also been awarded the TCM Trust Silver Medal for Voice, Friends in New York of TCM London/Edgar TP Comley Certificate of Excellence Prize and the Kathleen Creed Scholarship, in addition to winning the 2019 Elisabeth Schumann Lieder Competition.

Unlike most successful Broadway composers, Cole Porter wrote both the lyrics and the music for his songs, also composing scores for films from the 1930s to the 1950s. He was noted for his sophisticated, suggestive lyrics, clever rhymes and complex forms.

Cole Porter’s body of work is substantial and his compositions are well known. Many of the musicals and films that he composed for have had revivals.

Join Sam Jewison, one of the most exciting musicians of his generation, at The Grand Caffe Concerto - Westfield. Following on from the formation in May 2016 of The Cole Porter Story Orchestra featuring the best-loved hits from Porter’s stage and screen musicals, Sam Jewisin has gone on to perform solo renditions at world famous venues such as Camden’s Jazz Cafe, BFI Southbank and Orticola Di Lombardia in Milan.
